Has anyone ever filed for contempt against your kid's father for not following the court order?

If so.. why....for what? What was the outcome??

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who has to follow the court order. Maybe because I'm the defendant haha

My boy's dad tried pulling contempt on me because he said I wouldn't let him see my boy from Dec until July when we went to court. I told the judge he has not seen him since feb and I had written down the days/times he did not show since Feb. the judge threw it out because we both had different stories and of course he was lieing anyways like always. U just need to know that he won't lie and tell a story if u try to do comtempt on him and make sure u have things written down.

M concept of court charge was for non-compliance with my divorce settlement.  My ex had up to a year to pay me back HALF of the money he fraudulently took from me.  HALF.  IF he didn't pay me HALF of the money he was suppose to pay me the FULL amount that he borrowed from me while he was having an affair.  Guess what?  The SOB filed Chapter 7 to get out of the contempt of court charge.  Only thing is that a divorce settlement can't be dismissed in a Chapter 7.  The moron will be four months behind in a loan payment he is suppose to pay me on a monthly basis, and college funds for our DD.  So, in a little over three/four months when we meet up in divorce court, my ex will have to explain to the judge why he is behind in paying me and his won daughter back this money.   The outcome will more than likely be that the judge enforces garnishments from my ex's wages - military/state job - just to get caught up on payments.  I'm going to request that funds be directly deposited straight from the Dept of Military and from the state's treasury dept.  I refuse to allow my ex to control his own deposits.  He's a financial deadbeat and will continue to be late or not pay me or my DD what he owes/promised us.

My fiance's ex took him to court for contempt of a divorce order and CS. She claimed that while she was at our house, we weren't watching her because she fell, she also claimed that we were leaving her with unapproved babysitters, as well as being behind in CS and claiming her on his taxes. 7 of the 9 paragraphs were based on heresay. You can't have a court case based on that. We were able to pull up records and show he wasn't behind, which also means he could claim her on his taxes. There is no where in the divorce decree that we have to get our babysitter's approved. Everything was proven that he was not in contempt. My best advice would be to document everything and get a good lawyer.
