Do you get dressed up anymore?

I don't bother wearing heels anymore.  I rarely do anything with my hair except put it back in a bun.  I didn't really think about it until one of my co-workers said "We're moms we don't have to get dressed up."  (her son is 12 years.  Mine is 14 months.)

I LOVE HEELS!  I wear them practically every day.  I don't always do my hair, though.  I don't consider taking a little pride in myself as getting dressed up.  I consider it just taking pride in myself.  I am WORTH it.

I don't typically dress up because I don't have to. Not because I don't want to, but because I don't have to. Doesn't mean I'm not pulled together.

I do wear heels and dressier clothes for dates or when I go out with my friends. On the weekends I wear cute shorts and a tank or tshirt. I'm not a sweats person and I don't like to dress like a bum just because I'm a mom. I do my hair and makeup when I'm going in public. I can't just put my hair up because its short. For work I wear a company shirt and jeans but I always do hair and makeup as well.

You bet I do! When ever I can! I even dress nice for when I volunteer in my kids class room's.  I have never walked in, in jeans and a t-shirt. If I wear jeans its the blingie kind with a nice shirt and sometimes heals...depends on how long I will be there :)

I was never the dressy type. I was sad and angry too. I thought what was the point of dressing up. Until my aunt told me you do it for YOU not for anyone else dress up everyday like if you were going to a party. I've started doing that and it does make me feel better and I think it helps my self-steem a lot. I don't do heals every day I mostly do jeans a nice shirt and make up.

Nope. No time with a 3 year old. Long fun earrings make him want to pull it. I was never a dress up kinda girl. Always work tshirts and skaterboy shorts with flip flops n a ponytail. Don't care for makeup in this florida heat. I went on a date two months ago and had no idea what to wear so I texted a buddy of mine my different outfits and he was surprised I had "a hot ass body!!". I was like "so it's a nice outfit?". Lol. Takes too much effort to get dressed up when I'm sure my son will leave Cheetos print on my shirt. Plus I can afford new clothes. Rather spend my $ on my son.
