I seriously can't sleep. I'm tired, but I just can't relax my mind. I'm stressing that I may have registered for too many classes even though I'm only taking two a day, so four in total. The Sept-Apr courses I cannot drop and they are my Tuesdays and Thursdays classes...
Aughhh decisions. I am pretty sure I can tough it out if I detach myself from the online world....but youtube is soooo addicting when you're bored LOL!
What are your relaxation tips and studying habits? How do you guys get through college/university???
I'm taking a full load this semester. 12 credits=4 classes. My classes are online though. I can't afford to go to on campus classes right now plus with my son and working I would be too tired anyways to sit in class all day.
Anyways, to study I usually turn on some low music or open my YouTube playlist and listen to that while doing my work. I have no relaxation tips lol so if you find some let me know. Good Luck. Whats your major?

Portion out your time. If you try to do it ask at once, you will burn out. Have twenty minutes for reading on one subject then the next, work or time to do your assignments. If you break it up into small parcels, it doesn't feel so bad.

Thanks! Usually I devote an hour or two to each subject and I find that I forget what I've just read, so I would cue card it to etch it Ito my brain. I'm gonna have to buckle down and make sure I know what I'm reading this semester.

In the same boat as you, 14 credits. Math is my weakest subject and the one I worry the most about. My rule is to finish my ALL homework on campus, home is for being a parent and relaxation. I just stay on campus until it's done, I don't socialize, just head to study hall after classes. I take it one day at a time, do the best I can.
I have 7 credits this semester (I usually take between 6-9) but both are harder classes so thats why I only took the 2 classes. I am taking Accounting 1 and Microeconomics. I find that doing handwritten notes/outline over what I read really helps sink in what I am reading and makes it easy to review when it is test/quiz time. For me I do homework at night for 2-3 hours after my son has gone to bed (can't during the day because I also work full time - around 45 hours). So that is what I have found works best for me, gives me plenty of time to do homework, doesn't take away from my time with my son, and still gets me to bed at a decent time so I can get plenty of sleep! Good luck!
