Okay so I got pregnant at 18, and delivered dd right before I turned 19.
Alittle background on my dd’s father and I. We were best friends for 3years then started dating and 6months later I got pregnant. We ended up breaking up because we were fighting everyday.

Fast forward, my dd is 14 months old. My father has seen her a total of 5times her entire life and was there when she was born. Now he got his gf pregnant and she has a 5year old boy that he takes care of but doesn't take care or see his daughter. He is leaving for basic training in the national guard on Wednesday so I texted him and asked if he wanted to see her before he left and he said maybe. He will be gone for 6months all together and doesn't even want to see her. He doesn't pay child support (yet ) we are still in the process but I am so mad! I don't understand how someone can have a child and not even care about them!

Stop trying, let him make some effort. Trying to force him to see your child will only make you upset and angry when it fails to happen.

Leave it alone and focus on your daughter. You can't make him be a dad. Some men are just stupid and there is nothing you can do to change that.

My ex hates DD because she is a girl :'( he wanted a boy :/ my ex is a abusive douche bag.

I don't think  a lot of single mom's getting over this, the fathers just not making time for their kids, it's sad but you can't force him to be there, you are doing the right by trying to reach out to him but just don't push and take some comfort in knowing your DD has an amazing mother that is there for her.

I do understand your frustration, and I'm sorry you're going through this!! But, like the rest of the moms, don't force it.  It will only upset you more.

Dont worry about it. You cant force him to be a dad, but you can force him to pay support anyway.

Take care of your daughter and if you two were really best friends before lovers then he would not do you or your daughter like that. I have been best friends with my BD for 16 years and we have been off and on for 12 years and he would NEVER neglect our child like that even if me and him don't get along. Just let him be.
