Do you believe in psychics?

I've had free readings on here before in a different group. I also used my ebay rewards and got a paid one for free. I got it done in March before I was even thinking about buying a house. In August I decided that I wanted to start looking into programs that help people buy houses. I ended going to classes a week later, and apply for a program.  Three weeks ago I went there my ebay messages and read the reading that I had done before.  In the reading I was told that I would be searching for and buying a home around March of 2013. I got my paper in the mail from the program I applied for. I was told I have until March 20th to buy a house or apply for the program again once my time is up.

Yes, I absolutely believe in them. Though I think everyone has the ability it's just a matter of whether you allow yourself to tap into it or not

Nope. No need to look to the stars when we have complete access to the Maker of the Stars. :-)

I don't know if I do.

When my mil was married to a guy she despised, she went to a psychic. The psychic told her that her husband would try to kill her, she would marry a millionaire, and live near the water. 20 years later....

She married a millionaire, he bought her a house about 20 feet from the waters edge, and he bought her a 75 (or 103, can't remember) foot boat that they lived on for a few years

All of my in laws believe in psychics, ghosts, aliens, etc

Absolutely not!!! There is only one that knows the future and that is God and ONLY God. That is made crystal clear in the Bible. Ive had a couple of readings done just out of curiousity and they were right or close to right about 50% of the time. So-called psychics speak in broad terms that can be perceived in several different ways instead of giving exact facts. (damnit, I cant think of the word Im looking for! Grrr) Different people will understand the same prediction in different ways, usually depending on their individual circumstances and people tend to hear what they want to believe. For example, I was told, "you will meet a special dark haired man within 2 or 3 months. You will eventually get married again, its just not clear when." Well, duh! I met several dark haired men in that time period and eventually got married again... Most people do, so of course she was right there. However, I didnt marry that special one she eluded to. I do believe that there are some people who are more perceptive than most, but they dont know the future anymore than my asshole does. Most so-called psychics simply know how to read between the lines, study body language and know how to "read" peoples behaviors -- their actions, expressions, reactions and words. If they could see the future, even more than half the time, wouldnt they all be multimillionaires by playing the stock market and beating the casinos or betting on the races?? Wouldnt they all live pretty sweet lives by being able to see ahead to prevent the personal tragedies and problems the rest of us have to deal with in our lives?? Predicting the future is NOT a gift, its something that is studied and practiced and can even be almost perfected with enough experience. FBI profilers/behaviorial analysts use many of the exact same skills as fortune tellers and they obviously cant see the future or else they'd always catch the bad guy. Nope, nobody can see the future, but some can make generalized, educated guesses better than others.
