I hate lawyers!

Holy crap! I sent my lawyer an email to get a price quote on how much it would cost to get my child support order changed..... And I just got a bill for $75 for 15 min of his precious time.
I had no idea that email would cost me $75, or I never would have hit send!!

Plus it wasnt even my lawyer who responded, it was his ditzy paralegal

At least he billed in quarter hour increments instead of for a full hour. I'd call though and ask if you could get a couple more questions answered at no charge so you feel like you got your money's worth.

I know!! Lawyer's suck! I had a horrible lawyer. All they care about is money!!

The firm probably requires that. Otherwise they'd be inundated with emails all the time.

 i hate lawyers too, they seem to want you to fight and be acrimonious so they can keep getting paid.

you can modify child support for free through child support enforcement.

Not all states will do it for free. In GA you can request a mod every 3 yrs but it will cost $100 each time.
