LEGAL HELP PLEASE (Would a spouse be responsible to pay decease husband debt)
My mom husband pass she is seperated from him but legally married would she be responsible to pay his bills since she is his widow and could they take a income taxes for Bills that he owed.

Well, I'm not sure! It really depends on how things were set up. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Depends on the bills too!

She don't have to pay them do you think she will need a lawyer.

Only if the bills wherein BOTH their names. If they're just in hers, write DECEASED and send them back.

The bills were only in his name the deed to the house are in his name and her name if their were any property taxes owed on the home would she be responsible for the taxes owed on that home.
