Cost of living where you are

If you're comfortable sharing, where do you live (state) and what is the rent you pay, how many bedrooms, and square feet?

I have a one bedroom one bath apartment upstairs unit, 676 square feet with garage, and pay $1370 per month and its bound to go up next lease renewal. That's OC California for ya. Half my monthly pay goes to rent.

We have a 6-700 sq ft 2bedroom, 1 bathroom duplex in Austin for $950....and that's cheap,ugh!

We have an 1500 sq ft 3bedroom 2 bath house in GA and pay $985 a month.

2000 a month is common, even having roommates one person can pay this much. 750 is for "low income housing". ND oilfield

We're in Hawaii. We live on base housing and we get BAH (Basic Allowance for Housing), which covers rent & utilities. The amount depends on rank and where you're stationed. DH gets $2400/month aside from his basic pay. So that's basically how much we pay.

2000 for what size and bedrooms? 2000 here is considered typical for a 2 bedroom condo or apartment.
