Tell me at least ONE thing you like/liked about your ex.

Your answer can't be "nothing" or "I don't like anything about him" even though I know you want to say it. LOL! But we were attracted to these men at some point in our lives. Something that they did or said made us fall in love (or lust ;-). So if you could name at least one good quality about your ex what would it be?

He's a wonderful dad to my son. He loves him and my son loves him!! I couldn't ask for much more. :)

Well he gave me my son for one. But uh his smile & old personality. He always seemed like he cared (even for a day or two after I told him I was pregnant) but other then that... Not a damn thing!

He really does care about us, and even though we don't work great together, we work pretty good apart.

Leaving a man who "loved" you, but abused your son is very courageous of you. That's how parents are supposed to be! I hope your kids know what kind of Mother they have, one that really loves them.

Quoting stickyfingers:

me too. it took me a long time...i had three kids with him. i believed a lot of the church stuff about how it was bad to divorce and pray he will change...he never did...he was sick in the head

Quoting moosesmom:

Oh wow :-(

I'm so glad you've moved on from that situation.

Quoting stickyfingers:

he was jealous of my son from a previous marriage. he was abusive to him.

Quoting moosesmom:

:-( what happened?

Quoting stickyfingers:

he was a hard worker and had a great job. he loved me

Talk is useless without the follow through.

Quoting raegan1221:

No kidding..that's a rare man who actually wants to talk. Hard to come by.

Quoting moosesmom:

A lot of men don't do that so well. Great quality.

Quoting Mama_Gillogley:

his ability to talk things through- even if it was just talk and his actions never followed through... we had some really good conversations. and the sex... the sex was like... earth shattering. frick.

This is a dangerous question to ask. Seeing his good side kept me there too long. But, we have a great friendship base. I want to tell him, even now, everything that happens in my day. He never wanted to change me and accepted my quirks even loved them. He was generous money wise. His body didn't hurt. I know he loves me.

To save from having to ask....he never showed this love. I had to beg for affection and beg for sex. The sex was terrible and selfish. He never participated in desisions and I had to do everything alone. Truthfully being broken up hasn't changed my day one bit. He's also dangerously manipulative and has definately destroyed my self confidence. But I'm rebuilding now.

Don't you just wish you could get the penis in a breakup sometimes? Maybe gift it to the really nice one you date next lol.

Quoting veganistic:

Okay, I'm not going to say he gave me my dd, that's too easy! Lol.

:o)

I will say that his penis was decently sized. Lmao. And that's ALL I've got.

LOL! Yes. You've got perfectly nice guys going around with tiny junk, and complete jerks who don't deserve what they've got!
