Closer

DD turned 6 last month and last night I got answers from my ex to why he is not in DD life and I now feel I have closer. I feel I can better answer her questions when it come to "where's my dad".

That's good!  :)  My ds is  7 months and I finally have closure.  It was tough before though, always full of questions.

6 years was hard alway having the questions and wondering. The questions from DD were really hard because I did not want to say the wrong thing or miss lead her but I feel with the answers he gave I have said the right things

That's great.  Don't say bad things to her about him it will push you guys apart (my mother did that about my father) good luck!

That is one thing I never done. I have always wanted to leave it open for her to come to her own thoughts of him when the time came. With his answers last night I feel it will all happen in time but first he has to get back on track and I have to say thank you to him for taking that step back and not getting in DD life only to make it a mess at this point but he is working on making things right. And I feel better knowing that he has always wondered about DD and has kept tabs on her through a friend of ours, never knew he was.
