So as some of you may know, Jiovonni's father had told me he wants nmothing to do with him anymore. And dropped out of his life. Well I need advice, I talked to him about it, asking him if he really was done and wanted nothing else to do with our son and he said yes.. Is it too early to take him to court? I would like to take him so I can get full custody and child support from him.. but what if he decides he wants to change his mind and take our son again? help!
II recommend filing for child support right now. He still has a legal obligation to support his son whether or not he is in his son's life. In some states, you will get more child support since he does not spend time with his son. You should have it garnished through the state to avoid him playing games in paying you child support for your son.
