my poor son :(

 he is 18 years old and a senior. he has some learning disabilities because of a brain injury from birth. he is in special ed. he tries very hard and is mainstream.

well he didnt pass the stupid math CAHSEE again. he missed it by ONE FUCIKING POINT. last time, he missed it by two. he has the opportunity to take it again, in march, so please cross your fingers for him.

(he will pass high school anyways but he works so hard and wants a REAL diploma. as long as he passes all his classes and passes the math CAHSEE he gets a regular diploma. he passed the english CAHSEE a long time ago)

Is he on medication and see a counselor ? If so he is 504 and they can't fail him my daughter is 504 and she's in pre ap

I am in CA too... my son had extra help through his IEP and thankfully pased the math one easily. But the language/writting one he took 3 times before passing. Now we just have to make sure he passes the classes. Good luck to your son!
