MIA Father...How to answer a 3yr old where her father is???
Thank you
Thank you! I will try my best and I guess I'll know if I succeeded when she get's older ;)
Quoting Pessema:
That really sucks. As long as you be the best mom you can be and make sure she knows that you love her she will be fine. :)
Quoting Caramel824:
I'm wrong because I don't talk nice about these low life's I picked,my son deals with his father and my daughter doesn't want anything to do with her dad.he's not there and he don't care about me,so I don't care about him!!!I say he's Muslim he doesn't believe in Jesus,so he doesn't care for anything.but the devil.my daughter said mom I want to go to church,I gave her money for the collection plate.only GOD can fix this mess.
Recently my daughter has asked where her father is?her 7th birthday was jan 25th.
:( What did you tell her? I'm still finding it difficult to explain things to my 3yr old babygirl. I tried to tell her about different families when she asked me but trying to get my 3year old to sit through that talk is kind of hard.

I agree with this. I definately would not say that he died though, that could (and usually does) come back to bite you in the butt in the future.

... you just tell them honestly that you don't know or just don't say anything. My son didn't really start asking until he turned 4.
