My boyfriend took my son and I out for lunch and we headed to the zoo.. Penguins are my favorite animal and somehow he had worked out with the staff to have a penguin walk up to me and give me a ring.. And when that little penguin dropped the ring by my feet my boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed! AAHHH!!! It's been nice getting all of the wonderful advice from all you other mommy's but it doesn't feel right being in a single moms group when I'm really not single.

Yes, they were so adorable. The one that brought me my ring is specifically trained to bring people small things, the instructor said she normally just brings them pebbles. Lol

Thank you! It was perfect, I didn't expect it at all. He's usually a layed back do things the easy "normal" way kinda guy.

BTW. I haven't been single for two years now (we're not married, but we live like it) and I'm still in this group. There are still a lot of things that only single mothers understand, I need advice from women that have been there. Just as I feel I have a lot to offer women that are in the shoes I was in 2+ years ago. No need to leave. :)
