I am having a very hard time with my 7 year old who has ADHD Bi-polar disorder and ODD...this is a very trying proocess. The doctors are having a very hard time wit finding the correct medication to help him...he is on Intuniv 4mg and Vyvanse 20mgs. This situation is very stressful and I am at a lost for words and thoughts...does anyone have any situation.
Check out the group Loving a Child with ADD/ADHD. You can click here. The are a great group of ladies and have a lot of knowledge from Meds to ideas for handling situations. I don't have experience with the ODD and bi-polar but my daughter is also on the 20mg Vyvanse for her ADHD.
My son has ADD/ADHD, ODD and impulsiveness and I feel maybe even aspergers. It isn't always easy, but you manage. We have gone through many, many medicaiton changes and have found one that works for him well now.....Good luck to you .
