trailers-- trash or treasure?

My finances are not the best, but I really want to move from my parents. Mobile homes may be a possibility. What are your thoughts/experiences/favorite memories concerning mobile homes?

I live in one. Its not bad. I got beautiful wood floors. Its expensive on heating and cooling coz theyre not insulated as well as houses not on wheels

They are OK, but it depends on the neighborhood that it is in.

My experience was not good. The trailer made me very sick because of the mold & the rodents. I would still pick that choice over living with my mom any day. I would just choose a newer trailer and be more aware of what I was getting into.

I wouldn't personally ever live in a trailer- that's just how I was raised. I didn't really want to live with my folks, either, but I figured it was wiser to suck it up and take advantage of that situation to go to school and save money than to spend what little I did have on a subpar apartment or trailer and have a harder time getting where I wanted to be.

In hindsight, I'm very glad I did.

It depends on where you live with the trailer Some parks are very nice! That's so ignorant to say that trailers are trash and for anyone to point there nose down because someone lives in a trailer..
