Today would have been our 8th anniversary since our first date...:-(
it's the first significant date since he decided it was over Dec 3rd. But nobody knows yet(we are still living together right now till I find work...) so I have to go on pretending all is normal...
Once the kids are in bed all bets are off... It's going to be me, a bottle of wine, chocolate and a sappy movie....:-(

I am holding back mainly because my son who is 7...the younger ones(2 & 5mo) won't understand yet...
I just don't know how to tell him.... I'm have been debating every weekend whether to tell him or not... I'm considering maybe tomorrow because he is off for 2 more days from school and stbxh will be home from work.... I just don't know how to bring it up....

I'm sorry. I hope you are able to make the most of your day even if it is stirring the emotions.

First you have to be honest with yourself and decide what you want and need. Yours are just as important as his. It's not easy. Everyday I wake up with the struggle on what my kids and u go and went through. I once heard kids rather be from a broken home then in one.its the hardest thing you have to do and one with thought . The first anniversaries are the hardest. I think your plan for the night sounds like a good one.
