My 4YO son has started the horrible habbit of bitting his nails (example set by me), what do I do? I think it's horrible to see him do it, especially because his nails are getting super short. Any good products or trick out there that anyone can recommend by having used it yourself or for your children? Thanks in advance!

I just remind my boys to stop and they usually do. It's lessened quite a bit.

I used the bitter polish on my dd and it worked. I used the Sally Henson brand from Wal-Mart. I bit mine for many years until one day I just quit without thinking about it. Kinda weird but I'm not complaining.

I told my son I would paint his nails and he would have to go to school with bright red nail polish. I gave him 1 month to see if the had grown out and even put a reminder on the calendar to check. He didn't bite them and told me he didn't want to go to school with red nails. Probably not the best plan but it worked :)
