See, this is normal for most babies, but my son has just about slept through the night since birth. I am trying to be patient, but I'm wearing thin. Any suggestions on what I can try that might make a difference?
Maybe try giving him a bath before his last feeding at night. This helped with my kids, they always seemed really hungry after the bath so they would eat good and sleep better. My kids were also on cereal already at 4 months old so they were able to go longer in between bottles. Are you nursing? I know alot of nursing moms co-sleep so the baby can nurse anytime he wants through the night and you can get alittle extra sleep.
I know some babies who dont ever get on a routine sleeping through the night. Talk to the doctor and see what he/she says. Eating every 1 1/2- 2 hours might not be the only reason why your son is waking up so often.
Hi and and welcome to the group Tiana.
Maybe it's not the eating part. Maybe he's cold or something else is wrong. Try talking to his ped.
