I love it when the ex calls for the first time in weeks and then goes AWOL again leaving me to deal with the aftermath.

Sounds like a repeat offender why can't you leave his stuff behind and let him clean up his own mess

Exes - can't change who they are and sometimes the situations. Sorry you are going through this. I'm dealing with an absent ex, too. One who doesn't like to be financially responsible and never will.
We are divorced. He called for the first time in 2 months and then stopped again for so far 2 weeks. Kids do not know what to think.
