I have to co-parent with a pedophile NPD

A lot has happened since i found child porn on my ex's computer, called the cops and left with nothing. The cops found 152 questionable images of what looked like pre-pubecent girls, but no charges. I tried to get a RO, proved abuse but didn't prove imminent danger. He is SUPER creepy, threatened me daily...immediately after dumping hot coffee on me, with me crying and asking why he doesn't just leave me alone he said he loved me and would stay will me forever in a very very creepy intimidating voice.

I was awarded sole custody but he gets once a week visits. He has a drug, alcohol and gambling problem. My ex's father (The grandfather) is also a convicted child molester who is still around kids (He molested his own daughter and her friend). I called his PO with proof he violated his probation (pictures of him with kids, facebook statuses that said he was going to kids birthday parties) but they didn't nothing...actually took him off probation 4 weeks later. My ex's brothers are drug dealers with long rap sheets and have been accused of molesting little girls WITH the grandfather...there was an investigation by the DA..(failed lie detector, pictures of these little girls naked) but they got away with that. The brothers have also said they know of a place they can bury my body and no one will ever find it...I have proof of this threat but police can't do anything until they actually attempt something.

The judge wouldn't even put in a stipulation that the kids not be allowed around the child molesting grandfather...said she will trust the family to keep the kids safe?! But also said she was filing a report with Child Protective Services!? I've been waiting for them to contact me as a last hope in protecting my kids. I've just come to brick wall after brick wall in this nightmare. It's ridiculous that I feel it might have been smarter for me to stay with a highly abusive person in order to be there to protect my kids...now I have to send them off to dangerous, highly manipulative sickos once a week.

Will CPS help me? I've heard A LOT of horror stories about them. Anyone else ever deal with ANYTHING similar to this? I can't even find anything on Google similar to this horrific ordeal.

I asked for supervised visits. But I didn't get them. This judge I got was barred from doing any cases involving child welfare for 5 years...about 5 years ago. She ordered CPS to bail out a child rapist so that he could make plans to care for his son. Judge Deanne Darling, Oregon City Oregon

You seriously need an attorney.  I'm guessing that you should be able to request a new hearing for your case, request supervised vists as well as a protective order.

Hi and welcome to the group.

Until you have proven any abuse in such a matter that you know for sure has taken place, all will just sit in the cabinet drawer.

Sorry, but that's how it is.

I proved abuse during the RO hearing. he admitted to it in court! I didn't prove imminent danger becuase I went back to the house to get things for me and the kids and he was there secretly video taped me. So if he was really all the scary I would have done without the kids clothes and bottles...

Oh!

On second thought secretly video taping you with your clothing off and having sex with him?  hands over eyeslol.

No, video taping me coming back to the house to get mine and kids things AFTER I filed the RO. If I was in immediate danger I would have done without the kids clothes and diapers...even though i left with nothing in fear that he would loose it because I turned his computers in. No I screwed that one up...wish so bad I could go back in time and redo that one. Might have turned out a lot better. I tried to plan my escape, talked to womens services about keeping an abuse journal and trying to secretly save money. I couldn't save anything. I had nothing.

Welcome to the group. If you have solid proof of all that, go to CPS yourself. If that's the case with your judge, is possible your attorney could get a new hearing with a different judge.

I work for CPS in Oregon. Call screening in your county and talk to one of the workers who screens for abuse and see what they have to have say/suggest. Continue to do what you are doing, being a protective proactive parent will assist you should we (DHS) become involved.
