Anybody else do this? It was ordered in the temporary custody (thank GOD because he is asking for full legal and physical custody).

Anyway, I'm new to this all and I have to go there on Monday to do an intake interview. And I will have to pay (he has to as well) but its MUCH better than him being unsupervised. Just wondering how it works for you ladies. Thanks :)

There is a permenant restraining order protecting me and the kids so we have this per our custody agreement. i have full custody, but he was granted an hour per week of supervised visits per week, plus 1 phone call per week i monitor and can terminate at will. He is offended by the idea that someone has to supervise his interaction w the kids. Additionally the cost is his sole responsibility (it's weird that you have to share the cost). suffice it to say he has not seen the kids in a year and tells them it is my fault because of the visitation agreement and restraining order. The ironic thing is that i requested supervised visits by a mutually agreed on friend or family member, but because of my x's behavior the judge insisted on the safe center. He has never physically hurt us, but he has untreated mental illness which causes him to become psychotic and violent. It was a decision that nearly broke my heart and the kids do miss him, but i just couldn't take the chance he would hurt my kids. i am hopeful that one day he will agree to the visitation plan and see them again.

i hope things turn out well for you and your kids.

What class? I don't have to go to any classes or anything. His father just gets visitation once a week.
