I need help, Confused and not feeling myself...

I need help.. I've been confused about myself lately. When I 1st had my daughter, my mother said I had postpartum depression from what I told her. For 3 months, I suffered feeling like I wasn't in my own world or body but it got better. But for a year and a half from when I was 4 months pregnant, I lost interest in people. Like sex, relationships, etc. I ended up being crazy about this one guy 4 or 5 months back, it didn't late long at all. I look at people and I don't see any type of attraction. I feel extra lonely. I also don't really feel anything for people besides my daughter....I'm confused by this. I feel so out of place, as of this moment I feel like I'm not myself. My daughter is now 1 year and 1 month old. Why is this happening? Can anyone help...? :[

Maybe you should try some counseling.

It sounds like you need to see a counselor. Without the right treatment ppd can be horrible and long lasting.

I would definitely suggest that you talk with a counselor and possibly also your family doctor or ob/gyn.  Post-partum depression can last more than a year, particularly when you haven't sought any treatment for it.

Sounds like a bit of depression.  You should speak to your Doc about your feelings.

Idk, but there's definitely something psychological going on. You're not crazy, but do need to seek counseling.
