But welfare won't help me with cash assistance because my feild is not in demand. Im going to school to get a paralegal degree. How is that not a demanding field? ? I'm so pissed right now. I have put in applications all over the place and I'm not getting any job interveiws..I just want to scream

Ask your school financial advisor about grants and aid. I was a paralegal for years and loved it. Good luck.

Try to get grants because you can use the money to live off.

 Not "in demand" doesn't mean it's not demanding.  It means there isn't a shortage of workers in that field.  You can only get cash assistance if you're persuing a degree in a field where there is a shortage of workers.

They do but my field is not "in demand". So they may not help me

Did a caseworker tell u that or do u just think that they wouldn't?Check their handbook (they usually have them online) to see if that is actually in there.

No my caseworkers supervisor told me it wasn't but I looked online and its there so it has to be covered
