Morning Routines

Okay, I have always heard that old saying, "don't complain, someone always is worse off than you" so lets hear it. What is your morning routine, how bad is it, how crazy is it.....etc.

Mine:
6am Shower/meds/get dressed
6:15 Make sure 14yo is up
6:30 Makeup/hair
6:45 Wake up 9yo
6:55 Take 14yo to bus @ HS
7:05 Wake up 16yo
7:10 Send 9yo to walk to school
7:15 Eat breakfast
7:30 Wake up 12yo
7:40 Leave to take 16yo to HS
8:00 Arrive at work

I'd add what my typical Tues/Thurs evening schedule is but that would be too scary.

Monday - Friday I pretty much have the same schedule.

5:15 wake up

5:15-5:50 exercise (type varies depending on weather/mood/if I have my son) - my son usually wakes up at some point while I'm exercising if he's at my house and he gets himself ready for school

5:50-6:10 shower/get dressed/ready for work

6:10-6:20 eat breakfast with my son - usually yogurt or cereal

6:30 leave to take my son to daycare (if I have him) and head to work

7:15 arrive at work (I start at 7:30) and start the work day.

mine if I have the kid

6:29 alarm goes off get up and get myself ready and turn on the light so he wakes up

6:40 ask him if he's putting his clothes on yet

6:45 remind him that if he doesn't get dressed mommy will be late for work and get fired and that means no more treats cause we will be broke

6:50 if the ex is taking the kid I pack the bag to bring to school so I don't have to make contact with his dbag dad

7:00 threaten to leave the house without the kid(works every time)

7:05 leave the house and sit in traffic for 15 minutes

7:20 get to daycare and sign him in and leave as fast as possible to sit in traffic for another 30 minutes

7:50 get to work and get my ass to my desk and hope that the system lets me log in before 8

days I don't have luke are pretty much the same except I hit snooze 4 times and don't have to remind him to put clothes on and i just drive straight to work

I have more to do but I wouldn't consider myself worse off. I rather enjoy my little life. My morning starts with milking goats and feeding livestock, picking whats left of the garden to make lunches for the kids, making breakfast and waking up the kids, driving kids to school, coming home to do dishes, take a client call, check emails and do administration type stuff for work, laundry, weather proofing the farm, lunch for me, start dinner (make bread, dessert, marinate meat, etc), go get the kids from school, continue with dinner preps (pick garden for dinner) while kids do their chores, help kids with homework, sit down for dinner, clear/clean table/dishes, play a game, bedtime routine, read stories, tuck into bed, tidy up and go to bed.

My mornings at home are really easy. Ds typically wakes up on his own and I wake up at 7:30 either way. I'll make coffee and will sometimes make ds breakfast (nomally he makes his own). I might throw dinner in the crockpot. I leave for work at 8:30am.
