Transitioning from Co-sleeping to own bed

. Im a single mother of an almost 1 year old and since hes been 9 months old he's been sleeping with me just about every night. I started living with my parents when I got pregnant and has been living with them ever since. My son's dad never wanted to help so I couldn't afford to have my own place. In a month or two, me and my son will finally have our own place. My question is, how do you transition a co-sleeping baby to his own room and bed? I know its going to be hard for him. I really need help with this! This momma wants her bed back.

My kids are 5 and 3 and still sleeping with me. Same thing, live with my parents. They actually have thier own room now but its just a play room, if they happen to fall asleep in there they are in my bed in no time. No advice but good luck! And congrats on getting your own place! That'll be nice
