Food Stamps?

Since becoming a single mom, have you had to use them?

Yes, I have used them in the past. My hours at work were cut to part time because we didn't have the business. They were a life saver. Once business picked back up and I went back to full time I no longer used them. Right now I make $15 more than the limit for my household but once the baby is here I will be reapplying. I need the help. I am currently on WIC and Medicaid. I only use it if I need it.

Ugh!  It's good that you make money, but when you really need help and can't qualify it stinks!

I'm glad business picked back up.  I agree, they really can be a life saver!

Im glad it did too. That was a rough 4 months. I had a hard time paying bills. In fact because of it I had to move back home. :( It set me back a good bit. I had to live with my parents for almost 4 years to get back on track because of it. I just moved into my own place on Feb 1st. :)

I did too.  I didn't qualify after my divorce though.
