wen u ask em to do something ..do u say please and thank u .?? i do feel like i been saying that for 13 years ..lord i,m so tired of saying it ..lol..i know its polite .. ..

It was a beginning of a good start - not long enough to continue the joys of teaching them the good etiquette.

Yes. Manners and setting good examples are important to me. It's just second nature, I don't think about it I just do it.

Most of the time, yes. My kids are the type to think that if it's merely a request, it's optional, and they'll opt not to do it - or to do it when they want to, rather than when I want them to. A 'please' implies request to them, so if I need them to do something, or I need them to do it right now, and it's not an optional thing (say, getting in the car to go somewhere), I won't say please. I will still say thank you, though.
