Hi,
It will be a first birthday party for my son who is turning 4. Do you give your child presents from you a8t the party or in private (e.g. before/after the party)?
Also there seems to be a split in opening presents. Some go with opening presents fron guests at party whie others prefer to do it in private after party. Thoughts?
Thanks!

If your son live with you then you should give him gifts from you at home. I have always seen gifts given by people attending the party opened at the party.

It's totally up to you and what you feel is best. We always gave the big gift at the party and the rest in private, but open the gifts from guests at the party.
