I have been told by other moms my age (24) that I need time for myself and I need to live my life and go out, but how do I do this without having to feel guilty? My ex sister (who hates me)told me im being irresponsible by dropping off my daughter with her dad and taking off for the weekend. Was I wrong for doing this?

If you take care of your child the way that you're supposed to...why should you feel guilty about doing something for yourself. If you wanna take off for the weekend while your daughter is with dad...do it. Just make sure that you can be reached if an emergency occurs or if she just wants to talk to you while you all are apart.

You need a life too and as long as you put her first, I see nothing wrong with having some time to yourself.
