How to stay connnected when dad and son live far apart

My DD's dad moved half way across the country this month.  I'm looking for a way to keep him informed about what is going on with DD (school, sports, projects at school, other things he's doing).  Does anyone know of a website or an app of some kind that has an interactive calendar that i can add things to so that his dad has up to the minute info about what's going on?

Our schools have a parent portal app for grades, assignments etc.
And my sons soccer team uses the TeamSnap app.

Your child's father can also get on the email list for school and other activities.

Do you have a DD or a DS? Giving the school your child's father's information for the parent portal helps, as well as emailing him about the activities that your child participates in. Skype or FaceTime during events too.

Gmail. You can set up a gmail account for you guys to share and then you can share the calendar on it and add things. That is what my ex that I have my youngest with and I did so that we could keep track of what's going on for each of us.
