Is anyone interested in learning how to become a family daycare provider?

I have a friend that has been in this business for the last 20+ years and has a wealth of knowledge and I was wondering how many of you would be interested in starting a family daycare if you had the right mentoring and training? The benefits would be to be able to work from home, be able to make a real impact on other children's and families lives and give your family a better income without having to leave home.

It's a good business to have but wouldn't work for me. In my area most of the children are too old for daycare.

In my County the department of family services offers a workshop for people interested in starting a daycare in their home.
Check to see if it's available in your area.
