Hey there ladies, I had court Monday and for the 4th time, my son's sperm donor didn't show up. But that didn't stop the case. They went ahead and saw it using the information that they already had on him since he didn't bother to provide updated information on his employment. I was sworn in and didn't lie about anything. However, the judge made a comment to the DCSE lawer about him not having any other children. In reality he has a daughter by another woman. Had the judge asked me about it, of course I would have told him that. But...I didn't say anything. I figured, since he didn't bother to show up, the judge didn't ask me anything and I wasn't there to represent him, I didn't feel I needed to say anything. If I had, my child support would have been lower. It was raised by more than $150. I feel I was justified in keeping my mouth shut. What do you think?
