Hi. My name is Mary and I live in Miami. I'm 51 yrs. YOUNG and have been divorced for 6 years, after a 24 yr. old marriage.
I'm past all of the divorce drama and feel content with my life as it is. I have two wonderful girls, 18 and 21, who live with me.
The only situation I have right now is the girl's father remarried 3 yrs. ago & had twins with new wife - she is a shrink with more problems of her own than I've ever seen. It is obvious she doesn't like my girls. She dictates when they can go over to see their dad and their new sibblings.
My girls try but they are fed up. I hate to see them sad that their father has basically put them aside and is busy concentrating on his new family.
I don't want to bad mouth their dad because it's not a good idea; however, how do I handle this?
Any advice?
