Hello

My name is Diana, I'm an over 50 mom. I seem to hang around and work with women younger than me and sometimes that generational gap can get to me.

Just looking for a group that's going down some of the same paths I am.

Hi Diana welcome, hopefully there will be others along to welcome you, I have found this to be a very inactive group. I realize that people have lives but I feel if someone is going to start up a group they can at least be here to welcome new members.

Anyway I'm 58, currently living in Northeast Pennsylvania. I have an adult daughter who lives in Texas and I share my home with a Chihuahua and Miniature Long Haired Dachshund.

thanks for welcoming me to the group. I love the dogs you have, we are currently pet free but keep on looking for a new companion. My husband says we are so busy to take care of pet, I think he figures I would be to busy to take care of him.

I live in Tacoma Washington and the kids are out of the house so it's the hubby and me.

Maybe we can get this group going.

Hi Diana, welcome to the group. I am 51years old and live in northern New Jersey with my husband of almost 20 years and our only daughter who will be 14 in 5 days. She keeps me pretty busy, but I always have time to check my Cafe Mom groups. This group is definitely not as active as the others, but hoping with new members it will pick up. Glad to have you on board.

Yes I hope this group does pick up. I am on CM a lot being disabled I'm kind of homebound especialy in the winter so a lot of my "socilizing" is online. It's nice to be in groups where there is lots of conversation. Maybe if we brought booze more would come? LOL
