Why am I still a member of this group?  It seems as if I'm the only member of this group.  I'll give it one more chance but it is crazy that I was the last one who made a comment and that was almost 10 days ago.  I'm wondering why this group is still here at all.

It stinks to be alone sometimes!! I will be 49 in a few months so almost officially out of the mom's in their 40's. How old are your children?

My daughter is 26 and has left the nest

Not really, it was time for her to fly the nest.  I hear from her at least a couple times a day via facebook and phone calls and we skype at least once a week.

Hi, I am 54 and my daughters are 27 & 28. They are both married to men in the navy. One is in San Diego, CA and the other is in Virginia. I live in Oklahoma. The one in San Diego is moving to Texas in March. Will be so happy when she moves closer to me. We are like best friends and I am very close to the 2 grandsons. She is having my granddaughter in Dec.
