Glad to find the 50 ish Mom Group

Glad to be a new member of a group that's my age.

I have 3 children; the oldest daughter is married and blessed me with a wonderful grandson, my baby boy is 6'7" tall, and the youngest daughter is a sophomore in college.

We lost my mom a little over a year ago, but my Daddy is 99 years old.

I am an adjunct instructor at two colleges teaching business and general studies courses.  Looking forward to some good converstation here.

My dad was 63 when he passed, my mother was @ 79 when she passed... I am not sure because I wasn't informed of her passing for 3 years

Hi, My name is Susan and I am 53 with 2 adult daughters who are both married to husbands in the Navy. I grew up in CA but moved to OK 6 yrs ago. One of my daughters is in San Diego right now but she is moving to Texas next year. That's where her husband is going to be stationed. The good thing is that she will only be 5 hrs away from me in OK. And that means more visits with my grandkids.

 Hiya!  I'm 52, have 6 yr. old twins, and my mom is 89.  I just moved to be closer to her.
