I am sick so we have cancelled our plans for this evening and hope that our day with DH's family still happens tomorrow.  We are taking a beef brisket and pineapple stuffing to my MIL's.  She is making a ham and a lasagna and my SIL is bringing desert and side dishes.  Have a very Merry, Healthy and Safe Christmas everyone!

Keeping it simple. Just glad to be well enough this year to enjoy being alive.

Will be with all 3 of my children for food & visiting at my son's home this Christmas day.

 Merry Christmas.

Stayed home last night and made the traditional 7 Fish Italian Christmas Eve dinner. We had a great time and exchaanged gifts with the extended family. This morning it will be our traditional Christmas brunchy breakfast and then over to the cousins house for ham and the trimmings. Lots gong on and that is a good thing. I need the distraction. Well love to you all and my Christmas be all you hope it would be.

we had a really nice Christmas. My brother's girlfriend is a loving, kind, gorgeous woman and I am very happy that he is loved by her. We met her yesterday. My family was supposed to come to our house but my mom was not well, so we took the celebration to her house. And my boys got to see Santa again on Christmas eve, and that was awesome.

Had a busy and fairly sleepless weekend lol.  Took my son to get a haircut and than we did a photo with Santa christmas eve early afternoon.  Than on Christmas eve I was driving around trying to get some last minute stuff and check out some deals, that I ended up not getting because everything was all gone by the time I got their.  Was up super late wrapping presents Friday night and Saturday night.  In fact I didn't get to bed until sometime around 5am and was harrassed from 9:30am til 10:30am to wake up so we could open presents.  I was up for the rest of the day, and cooked 95% of christmas dinner.  I wanted to get to bed fairly early compared to usual but did not get to bed until sometime after 11pm.  Than I got to wake up early today for work.  Christmas was good, but I am glad most of the hecticness is over.

Whoops, forgot I was going to post that picture with santa.  Here it is....
