Science resources for kids

Do any of you home school?

I'm not an Atheist, but I would like to teach my kids real science. We are looking at home school because our public schools are horrible and the only private schools are very Christian based, which I am finding is the case with most home school curriculum as well. I can work with the other subjects, but I want a good science curriculum that isn't "God created everything" in nature :-)

Do any of you know of any curriculums? Or at least some good resources on science for kids?

Thanks :-)

I don't homeschool but I've seen some interesting blogs on Pinterest about home-schooling and have pinned some of the science stuff.  If you'd like I can email you some of the links I have or if you're on Pinterest, give you the names of some of the home-school ladies I follow.

We homeschool!  TED Talks, Netflix, Kahn Academy, HHMI, and Jason.org are some pretty good free resources.

HHMI has free DVDs,,,,, most of which are great!

There is also a secular homeschooling group on CM.  We don't homeschool, but I go there for supplemental resources.
