So on tuesday night my daughter got a fever of 101. On wed morning she woke up with a temp of 102. On thurs it was 104 and this morning it was 102 and went up to 103 after I gave her tylenol. We took her to the drs on Wed and I told them that I think she has an ear infection. Low and behold they just told me that nothing was wrong with my DD. After 3 days of the fever I took her to the ER they found a sinus infection and TWO ear infections. Why can't drs ever believe the parents? Who knows the child better than their parents? Sure ain't the drs.

I 100% agree with you. That's why I don't go to my Dr. except for my yearly exam, I don't go to the er unless I'm dying,ha ha ha. I know my body and my mind better then anyone in the world does. My 23 yr old dd is a wicked hypochondriac, so is my mother and my sister, I'm far from being one.
My dd thinks she has everything under the sun. She gets headaches, sensitivity to light and a host of other problems. The Dr's can't find anything wrong with her. I saw on the news last week about the tanning beds and what harm they do to you. My dd has been going to tanning salons for a long time now. When I mentioned it to her, she went into a snit and is not talking to me now. (She's a know it all) and she's head strong. For some reason my hubby and kids think that I didn't have a life before I met my hubby and gave birth to my kids!! Look for another Dr. your insurance company can give you a list of Dr's and make sure you get any files they have.
