My son's father just texted me and asked if he could drop off xaviers easter stuff.. Sure why not so he comes over and hands me the stuff and said he would be back when xavier was awake just to text him.

Well being a mom i went through the stuff to make sure there wasn't anything i didn't want him to eat/have

I seen they bought him a shirt... well it has a stain and has been wore... by xavier's older cousin...  they also bought him a truck FROM HIS COUSIN's toy box...

they spent about 5 dollars in those cheap little easter toys from dollar gernal and candy...

Yea we only spent 50 dollars on all the easter stuff we are using for xavier (baskets, eggs, toys, and candy to fill the eggs)

but they couldn't even get him anything new and he only pays 10 dollars a month and i haven't even seen that since last JUNE....

sorry but is this NOT wrong????

JMO, but at least he made an effort.  Yeah, the stained shirt is not okay, but at least there was some new stuff in there.  I'm sure there are a lot of men out there who don't even try to bring their kids stuff on Easter.  Just be happy that he tried...I'm sure your son will be thrilled that his dad remembered him at all.

Yea i should be glad atleast he tried... but it is still annoying he is half in his sons life and i wish he'd either just get in it or leave forever

Hi, Not being rude by any means, but Easter isn't about toys, baskets at all.

Marketing and greed has made the honored day, go straight to he!!, IMO. I'm sorry your upset , but at least he made the effort. There is more things in life then Really worrying about material stuff.

I hope he had fun, and learn what Easter Or passover it truly about. Hugs

We call easter Eostara....  it is for new beginnings... i was really hoping he would give his son a shot.. and yes to me that means to stop giving him second hand things.... and if he couldn't afford it i would understand more.. but since he can afford to buy him new stuff and all that... i was really hoping he would give him a shot.. but he showed up and couldn't even do the easter egg hunt that my mom had planned for them to do together...

Xavier is 2... he doesn't understand Conception, Regeneration, New Beginnings ....

Never tell me i can't do something.. The doctors told me i couldn't give birth to a baby over 7lb.. Xavier was 8lb 1oz..i was told that with my back pain after having xavier i couldn't walk and i still get up and move around.. with pain but i do it... I'm 17 i'm a teen mom and i'm a pretty god damn good one... I voice my opinions but don't push them.. i'm Wiccan and I do NOT push my views on anyone and expected others not to push theirs on me or my son.
