The following items are all dangerous to some degree if ingested, nibbled, or placed in contact with your pet. Some can cause death almost instantly. Others may cause only a mild reaction, but it is best to remove them from any areas where they would be in contact with your small pet.

This is not a complete list, so if you are in any doubt about something that your pet has eaten or been in contact with, please contact your veterinarian or the National Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435. (They charge $55.00 per case.)

  •  Yep, dogs will actually be attracted to the snail bait. ugh~

Toothpicks can seriously hurt a dog once swallowed so be careful that none are dropped or where  a dog can get ahold of them.

Also, I believe hearing aide batteries. They are small so easily ingested.

  •  yeah any type of batteries, especially nowadays there are so many small watch and hearing aid batteries that will leak an acid if corroding and a dogs digestive system is acidic which will definitely corrode it.

great one...any type of toothpick or even sticks for that matter. i believe it was a stick the size of the width of my pinky nail that had my batista(rottie) insurgery at a cost of 3 thousand plus dollars when he was about 3 months old.

there are so many things in and around our homes that pose a serious risk for our four legged friends, we may never list them all, but we can try...simple smile
