Can your child.go to school on base if you live off base?

And for those that have kids attending elementary school.off base which schools.are the best?

I'm 99% sure you have to live on base to go to the base schools.
We live on base so I'm no help with the off base schools.

/Yeah you have to live on base, but your child will go to the school in the district of where you live. Like we live in Jacksonville but in Half moon and my son goes to Stateside Elementary and I like them but There are a million and a half school here in Jville.

My son is in Pre-K at the Tarawa Terrace elementary school and we love it! I've heard nothing but great things about the school. I'm not sure about the other schools but I've never heard anything negative about them.
