Hi I was wondering how everyone was diagnosed and what your symptoms are. I have been very sick for 7 months now and my doctors are now saying they think its autoimmune and possibly lupus. My family thinks I'm crazy and just being lazy. I just want to know whats wrong with me. Thanks!

Hey there. I was diagnosed about 2 1/2 yrs ago. I was tired and felt ill a lot but would just always brush it off the best I could and go about my life. Then one morning I woke up and couldn't move a single joint in my body without breaking into tears. My mother has rhuematoid arthritis so the doctors right away tested me for that and all came back negative. Then the ran a loads more tests and found out it was lupus. They do have to run a lot of tests and there is also a list of I think 11 symptoms and you should have at least 5 or 6 of those I think for a doctor to be able to fully diagnose you. There are a lot of great web sites out there for lupus diagnosis and treatments. I hope you start to feel better soon. It can be a hassel getting it under control but once they do then you should finally start feeling normal again. God Bless
