Dont feel down about being a "soon to be marine wife"... Its GREAT.. They should offer many different types of benefits to you and your daughter. I know my brother is going to afghanistan also. I pray your stb hubby and my brother as well. I am not sure what kinds of benefits and im really unsure as to what they would have to offer to a child from a previous relationship. Hows is the father? Is he around.. would he agree to your new hubby adopting her as his own. That happening I know it would be easier to get her benefits but AS a family ..They should have a range of benefits for both of you. Let me know how this all goes hun and GOOD LUCK.
