My boyfriend's dad always tells me we need to have another baby soon, and I always tell him jokingly...."if you want another baby so bad, go ahead and have one!"

Tell them sure you will if they pay for everything from birth to college. Its not the money its a choice, And they need to respect it.

I wasn't supposed to have kids. My De was a miracle baby. We almost didn't make it. That doesn't stop the comments of "when is the next one?" from happening though.
De's daddy got a vasectomy. That pretty much shuts them up for a moment. Although my mom still insist more are possible *rolls eyes* I tell them be thankful I had him & enjoy him like I do. Sure I would have loved others but it just isnt possible with my health. (I have systemic lupus) I have gotten where I blow the comments off entirely. If they get rude about it, I just tell them that they need to respect me & my decisions and if they can't? They don't have to be around. Yes, its kind of rude but so is their comments! |

I just stop and look whoever dead in the face and say nothing for a min. then just start talking again as if they haven't said anything. I only have a few relatives that repeatedly ask me this. I hated being pregnant the last time not in any big hurry to go threw it again...if it happens okay but if not okay!

When people ask I say..his (real) dad had enough kids for the both of us! lol!! (we had Jeffrey together & then his dad got married to a lady w/ a set of twins & then him & her had a set of twins together!) Not too much more is said after that =)

I haven't really been getting that question. I've already been telling everyone theres only going to be one so don't hope for another. No one seems to ask.

I get this question all the time. I have told people once we get the dna test back to see if he really is mine maybe we will think about it. They usually get the point...

I always respond with, "I am an only child and look how perfect I am." I usually stops them from asking again!
