Moms with one child
I got this again.. poor Austin he needs a brother or sister to play with blah blah blah! I just dont understand it. I see lots of brothers and sisters that fight all the time and grow up and dont speak so its not like we are holding them back from something they have friends that will be like family like everyone does!

I hear ya! I get that all the time and it bugs the crap outta me, and my DD is only 13 months! I usually get it when I say I'm not planning on having any more children, so to avoid the looks and questions I just say "I don't know" when they ask if we will have more. And I usually follow up with "I'm just really enjoying her right now!" I really wanna tell people that having more children JUST so your child has someone to play with is not a good reason!!

by Cutest on Nov. 19, 2008 at 5:19 PMWOW at 13 months! That is CRAZY! I am an only child and I had a friend to go on vacations with and had my own friends to play with and when I didnt I played on my own thanks to that I am creative now and independant. I see a lot of kids that have siblings but no friends or cling to mommy and daddy all the time there are issues on both sides but some people that have more than one shouldnt be parents at all! |

We never got to bring friends because my sister and I had each other. What fun fighting the whole time...so thats what I am kinda excited about- to be able to bring a friend with us, or travel to Europe or something just the 3 of us. I just tell people we don't want another right now, but nothing is set in stone. That way that sort of stops the conversation. |
