In the start of the new year is anyone doing anything new to Support Red Fridays at all?? Just wondering!!!
I just bought some blank t-shirts and decided to make a few for myself. I usually wear red, but nobody seems to know what red Friday is. Maybe if I spell it out on the shirt, it will spread the word. I was thinking about asking my local school to promote a red Friday. I remember the school asking all the kids to wear red one Friday. It was shortly after 911. We live close to NYC, so we lost quite a few local people. I am sad to say that two of my sons best friends lost their dads. Both were firefighters. Anyway, I believe I may be able to remind our school about our soldiers and I am sure they will have atleast one red Friday. I know I will always wear my red shirt on Friday even after my son returns from Iraq. God Bless all of our Soldiers. Sincerely Karen
