so im a single mom of two just moved to texas and staying with some family members because we really dont have anywhere to go right now. I just got a job and they did not ask if I was pregnant and I did not tell them because I know that ppl dont usually hire you if your pregnant. Well I dont know when to tell them now cause I dont want to lose my much needed job and im already like 4 months...what should I do
I COMPLETELY agree with this. It is illegal for them to fire you because you are pregnant. If they do fire you make sure you have all the facts written down and documented. I worked at Fashion Bug a few years ago and my boss was pissed because this girl came in looking for a job because she was fired from her previous job because she was pregnant. My boss told her the exact same thing. Don't be scared.

Don't be scared. How long have you worked there. Its illegal for them to ask you if you are pregnant. Just like they cannot fire you because you are pregnant. BUT they also don't have to give you your exact job after your maternity leave! What do you do????
