my little man has just pooped in his potty on his own without any outside influence (ie me asking or telling him to sit on the potty) and i am soooo freaking excited and proud of him..we started really potty training 3 days ago. we have talked to him about it for the last few months or so but he finally decided that he wants to kick the diapers so he can start having sleep over nights with his grandpa like big brother does. (grandpa says no sleep over nights for landon until he is potty trained because my dad doesnt deal with diapers and my step mom had a stroke so only has one hand and cant really change diapers) so we have been putting him in undies but he has accidents if hes in them so today i decided to try no undies after he peed all over my dining room chairs earlier. lol..and so far only one accident where he finished on the potty...
OMG as i was typing this he went and peed in is potty too!!! he is finally getting it! ah!!! i am sooooo freaking proud!!! lol..thank u MIL for the "dandy boy candy" idea she told me to try with my oldest. cuz it works. everytime they use the potty they get one piece of candy because dandy boys get dandy candy. lol..

HI! im a 22yr old disposable diapering, CIO attempting, vaxing (but no flu shot), circ'ing, BFing AND FFing, vaginal and c-section birthing, co-sleeping, SAHM to 3 BOYS. i have been fairly happily married since i was 17 to my high school sweetheart who i met when i was 15. yes i am a "teen mom" but i also graduated high school early. so dont tell me im too young because i will tell you your too old!
SORRY FOR ANY TYPOS, IM NAK ALOT!
i like the 3day potty training method. and offering a candy or sticker anytime they use the potty. and make it a huge exciting deal anytime they use the potty...even my 4yr old helps get in on the jumping for joy when my 2yr old uses the potty. its a family ordeal. lol. i try to set timers for every 15mins to ask or take my LO to sit on the potty. diapers only for naps and bedtime. and if they have an accident try to run them to the potty as fast as u can so they can finish on the potty saying something like 'ew we do that on the potty' and i remind him that accidents will happen and its ok but we want to try to make sure we always get our peepee and poopoo in the potty.
i hope these links help :) the ehow link is the one i used to help potty train my oldest (he was trained 2months after he turned 2) and i am working on it with my 2yr old right now..

Quoting Jme05:
Awesome! I am so jealous! We started the potty training a little bit, mainly just getting him comfortable with the potty. Had him go diaper and pants free most of the day on Saturday and he spent most of that time sitting on the potty in the living room while watching a movie. But no pee or poop. I was hoping to get lucky! Do u ave any tips?
today has gone even better for the potty training..has hasnt had a single accident since i took his diaper off this morning when we woke up..super proud mommy again today..lol..
sharing more...my little man has gone the last two nights without wetting his diaper! he wakes up and the first thing he does is go to his potty..im not ready to let him go to bed without a diaper yet though. just in case..lol..
Woohoo!!!! I love being diaper free! I'm lucky and all of my kids have been potty trained by time they hit two. It saves me sooo much money!! Oh, and how cute is the dandy candy thing? Love it!!!
